Made to Measure in Dorset

Bespoke Timber Windows and Doors in Weymouth

Made-to-measure timber windows and doors for period properties, renovations and modern homes in Weymouth. Windoorland supplies traditional and contemporary designs in quality timber, available as supply only or with professional installation.

Made to Measure for Weymouth Properties

Weymouth includes traditional terraces, character homes, coastal properties and modern developments, so a standard window is not always the right answer. Windoorland provides bespoke timber windows and doors made to suit the opening, the appearance of the property and the required level of performance.

From our base near Bridport, we work with homeowners across Dorset, including Weymouth. We can quote initially from photographs and approximate measurements, helping you compare suitable options before a final survey and detailed drawings are completed.

    Timber Window Styles

Our windows are made to measure rather than selected from standard sizes. Designs can be traditional or contemporary and can include:

    Bespoke Timber Doors

Windoorland also supplies made-to-measure entrance doors, French doors, stable doors and other timber door designs. Each door can be specified around the property, preferred appearance, glazing, security and intended use.

    Timber and Glazing Options

Available timber specifications include Meranti hardwood, Oak and Accoya, with other options considered where suitable. We will explain the practical differences in appearance, durability and cost so the specification is clear before ordering.

Glazing can include modern double glazing, safety glass where required and slim 8.3 mm LandVac vacuum glazing for suitable heritage applications. Listed-building and conservation requirements depend on the individual property and the relevant authority, so approval must be confirmed where necessary.

    Coastal Specification

Properties in exposed coastal locations require careful specification. Timber choice, protective finish, glazing and external-grade ironmongery should be considered together to reduce avoidable maintenance and corrosion risks. Windoorland will discuss these details as part of the quotation and final specification.

    Supply Only or Professional Installation

Choose supply only for an experienced builder or installer, or ask Windoorland to manage the installation. Where installation is included, the quotation will set out the window or door cost and the fitting work separately so the total price is clear.

    How to Request a Quotation

To start, send the property postcode, clear photographs and approximate opening sizes. Tell us whether you require supply only or installation and, if known, the preferred style and timber. We can then prepare suitable options and an initial quotation. A final survey and drawings are completed once you decide to proceed.
